7. “I want to be the same I used to be,” he said, “Air and earth have not changed, they are the same as they always were and always will be. I want to be as they are, simple. I do not want to be absolutely calm, I am not absolutely calm”. The Prince was floating weightless in empty and dark space. He could not see anything. “I free myself from myself” he said and the words evaporated from his gardens. He saw himself disappearing as his words were. He saw in this weightlessness how the Prince of calmness was disappearing and the only thing left was that unknown, untouched and unidentified thing and all the space around him was disappearing and with it time evaporated. He now had become that unknown thing, which was known to him already, all the borders were gone and freed from himself he was the forest and its fields, the sounds and the animals, the silence and the coolness, he became everything he had ever felt in his life. The Prince of calmness had disappeared.
...and suddenly he came upon the surface of the water. This water was the ocean, this infinite emptiness, the shining emptiness which came from the depths of himself. He swam to the shore and came out of the water. He looked at and asked himself if he really had disappeared or not, or maybe he had changed forever. He entered the forest, returned to it and became the whole forest.
...and then he again opened his eyes. He was sitting in front of the lake, under the old tree. He suddenly looked around, Christ was sitting next to him, smiling as he said “We meet again. You’ve walked so far, good job my friend. Come on now, let’s go, I have a great idea”.
